WORCA: Building a Faster and More Sustainable Future for Egypt
High-Speed Train Project Underway

Construction of the first high-speed train bridge over the Nile River, south of Helwan, has begun. This bridge is part of the initial line connecting Ain Sokhna and El Alamein.

WORCA successfully implemented the WORCA Balanced Cantilever Carriage system for bridge deck construction, demonstrating their dedication to high standards and efficiency.

The Khor May Bridge project involved the unique challenge of connecting two mountains across a river. WORCA delivered a remarkable 9-axis bridge, the highest in Egypt, with a total concrete work length of 550 meters and a width of 14 meters. Each of the two main axes reaches a height of 80 meters.

WORCA is known for its innovative U-girder steel formwork system, designed for constructing U-shaped concrete beams in bridges and viaducts, ensuring a smooth construction process.

WORCA is dedicated to a sustainable future in Egypt’s transportation sector, aiming to build a safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly high-speed rail network.
