WORCA Balanced Cantiliver Carriage System
A construction methodology specifically designed for bridge construction in circumstances where the installation of conventional shoring systems beneath the bridge deck is impractical. The system involves sequentially joining segments to create a bridge span, balancing these segments on either side of each pier. The system is then advanced to the next position via hydraulic mechanisms, allowing for the progressive construction of the bridge deck.
